throwback to the scenic sketch for one of the brilliant backdrops painted by the Royal Opera in Copenhagen, before they decided to close the workshops and let go of a few centuries of tradition.
The backdrops for "Die Frau Ohne Schatten" were photographed and the image projected back onto the canvas, with alterations and animations confusing the eye.
